Costs and results
What you pay
The DEXs' trading fees and the spread, on the way in and on the way out. Limit orders pay the maker fee (zero or close to it on most DEXs); market orders pay the taker fee and cross the spread. Bots use limit orders first on both legs to keep this down.
Pays back in, on the Routes page and in the builders, is how many hours of funding cover a full round trip. A route that never pays back isn't entered.
Reading a bot card
- Net PnL: closed trades after fees and funding, from the DEXs' own fills. An open trade's part is labelled separately.
- Volume: what the bot traded, with the share filled as limit orders.
- Cost / $1M: fees and spread per $1M of volume.
- Last trades: each trade's result. A trade whose fills haven't arrived from the DEX yet shows as syncing.
Points
Many DEXs reward volume and open interest with points, and hedged volume counts. Whether a DEX turns points into anything is up to that DEX.
